Monday afternoon

When dealt lemons you still try to see everything you can. When people say that DC shuts down with small amounts of snow they don't lie. I'd say we got 4 inches total. All of the roads cleared up quickly but they can't clear sidewalks quickly so the solution is to shut things down. We were able to go into the Cathedral and then had a White House photo stop. In both cases we ran into students from warm weather destination. It was fun to see their reaction to snow.

After a lunch at Union Station we saw the Archives Building. After that bus 1 quickly saw the World War 2 Memorial and both groups finished the afternoon with an extended visit to the mall.
